| Ato I. Apiafi, AIA Professional
Career
Design, a primary passion for Mr. Apiafi, earned him accolades and recognition at Yale University where he obtained his Masters of Architecture degree. Among his design recognition is a strong letter of recommendation from architect Cesar Pelli (1995 gold medal recipient of the American Institute of Architects). Mr. Apiafi also honed his design skills working three years for Kallmann McKinnell & Wood Architects (KMW) in Boston, Massachusetts, a distinguished architectural design firm with special recognition by the United States government. KMW typically upholds its high design standard by hiring the strongest of design professionals and they recognized Mr. Apiafi’s ability to make art of program requirements; which is where a building becomes architecture. Mr. Apiafi also lives by the mantra “good design is good business” and strives for outstanding architectural services.
In addition to his design expertise, Mr. Apiafi has years of experience meeting project delivery deadlines. His commitment to client success is an invaluable asset he acquired through six years of apprenticeship to Jerry Quinn Lee, the CEO of MulvannyG2 Architecture (MG2A) in Bellevue, Washington. Though Mr. Apiafi prides himself at meeting clients’ needs, he believes his forte is his good sense of humor that makes him a joy with whom to work. People generally find him to be highly enthusiastic and committed to their success.
In summary, Ato I. Apiafi has worked with the best in both design and production and looks forward to using these acquired skills in going to bat for you!
